1.1 Acceptance of Terms#

By accessing or using gemmae.dev (the “Site”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree to any part of these Terms, you should discontinue use of the Site immediately. These Terms are effective as of the “Last updated” date noted above and may be revised from time to time (see §1.8).

1.2 Content Ownership and Reuse#

Unless otherwise stated, all original content published on the Site – including blog articles, project descriptions, murmur posts, original illustrations, and project screenshots – is the exclusive property of @Wanfeng, and is made available to you under the following licence:

1.3 Licence for Code Snippets#

Blog articles published on the Site may include code examples / code snippets (collectively the “Code Snippets”) written by @Wanfeng. Code Snippets are released under the following custom licence:

(a) You may freely reproduce, modify, and integrate Code Snippets into personal, educational, or open-source projects, without prior notice or attribution being strictly required (though attribution is always appreciated).

(b) Commercial use is NOT permitted without advance written consent. If you wish to use any Code Snippet (or a derivative of one) in a product or service that is sold, licenced, or otherwise monetised (including inside an internal tool used by a for-profit organisation), you must first contact the author at wanfeng572@gmail.com to agree on terms.

Any third-party libraries or framework code referenced in Code Snippets remain governed by their respective original open-source licences (e.g. MIT for Astro, Apache 2.0 for the Astro-Pure theme).

1.4 “As Is” Provision — No Warranty#

All content on the Site is provided for personal, educational, and non-commercial reference only, and is published on an “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, either express or implied. Specifically, the Operator does not warrant that:

the content is free of technical errors, omissions, or out-of-date material;
any code snippet, tutorial, or configuration recipe will work for your specific environment without modification;
the Site will be available on an uninterrupted or error-free basis; or
the Site or its server is free of viruses or other harmful components.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Operator shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages arising out of or in any way connected with your use of or reliance upon content published on the Site, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

The Site, including blog articles, the About page, and the Friends links page, may contain links to external third-party websites (“External Links”). The Operator does not own, operate, control, or endorsethe content, privacy policies, terms of service, or business practices of any linked site. You acknowledge and agree that the Operator is not responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage, loss, or offence caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with your use of or reliance on any such external content. 1.6 User Conduct (Commenting and Submissions)#

Comment functionality is currently disabled on the Site (see the Privacy Policy §1.4 / §2.4). The following conduct rules describe the expectations for any user-submitted content should comments or message boxes be opened in the future.

When using any interactive feature of the Site, you agree not to submit or link to content that:

violates any applicable law or regulation, or infringes any third party’s copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights;
is obscene, pornographic, abusive, defamatory, threatening, discriminatory, hateful, or that encourages violence or terrorism;
constitutes unsolicited advertising, spam, pyramid schemes, phishing, or any other form of commercial or non-commercial solicitation unrelated to the topic of the thread;
contains malware, viruses, trojans, worms, exploit payloads, or any other code designed to damage, intercept, or exfiltrate data.

The Operator reserves the right to moderate, reject, edit, or remove any user submission without prior notice, and to block access to repeat offenders.
